Registration

An online payment form has been set up using WorldPay.  For those delegates who have chosen to pay using a credit card, this form is accessible through ConfTool.  Please log in to your account and select the WorldPay button.

 

Registration for DH2010 opened on Tuesday 2nd March 2010. The Early Registration period closed on 7th June 2010, and online registration will close altogether on 1st July 2010.

Registration will be open for the duration of the conference at the Conference Reception in the foyer of the Strand Campus.

Conference registration fees are (in GBP):

  • Member - early registration (by 7 June): £210
  • Member - late registration (after 7 June):  £260
  • Non-member - early registration (by 7 June):  £300
  • Non-member - late registration (after 7 June):  £350
  • Student Member: £60
  • Student Non-member: £120
  • University of London Staff: £90
  • Daily rates are approximately half the full rate in each category. (Member £100 per day; Non-member £150 per day; Student member £30 per day; Student non-member £60 per day; University of London Staff £50 per day).

To register for the conference, please follow the link to the ConfTool system and select your registration options. If you do not already have a ConfTool account, you will be asked to create one.

To be eligible for member rates you must have an individual subscription in 2010 to the journal LLC, and have elected to be a member of one of ADHO's constituent organizations, or to be a Joint member.  ADHO's constituent organisations are:

  • The Association for Literary and Linguistic Computing (ALLC),
  • The Association for Computers in the Humanities (ACH), or
  • The Society for Digital Humanities / Société pour l’étude des médias interactifs (SDH-SEMI).

 When registering for the conference you will be asked to quote your LLC subscription number. This is printed on the address label when the journal is sent to you and on the subscription reminder letter. If you haven't kept any of these papers, then contact the Journals Customer Service Department, Oxford University Press.

Note: you will observe that the conference fee for non-members is greater than the sum of subscription to LLC and the member conference fee.  To subscribe online to the journal, follow this link to the journal home page and click on Subscriptions.

Accommodation:

Low cost student accommodation may be booked as part of the conference registration procedure.

Social Programme:

Participants may also sign up for one or more of our social events

  • Receptions at King's College London, The Barbican & the Lincoln's Inn (free of charge, but registration is required for planning purposes)
  • The Conference Dinner in the Great Hall, Lincoln's Inn (£55)

          and one of the following excursions on Sunday 11 July:

Cancellation & Refunds Policy

Cancellations from Tuesday 1st June will attract an administrative fee of £20. From 25th June the cancellation fee will be £50. No refunds will be possible on or after Thursday the 8th July.
