Gym Facilities

For those delegates who would like access to gym facilities while in London, we have arranged reduced-rate entry to the University of London Union's fitness centre, Energy Base. The University of London Union (ULU) is a 20-30 min walk from the conference venue, and a shorter walk for delegates staying in any of the Bloomsbury hotels or in Frances Gardner House.  ULU is in Malet Street, close to Senate House, University College, Birkbeck College and the large Waterstones book store on the corner of Gower Street and Tavistock Place.

Energy Base has a 53-station fitness suite and a 33m swimming pool (the largest in central London) as well as other facilities.  Hours of opening are Mon-Fri  07:30-22:00 and Sat-Sun 09:00-19:00.  Swimming times are Mon-Fri 07:30-19:00 and Sat-Sun 09:00-17:00.

A voucher will be included in the conference packs which entitles delegates to use the facilities at a daily rate of £6.50. Please just show this voucher at the Energy Base reception if you wish to use the facilities.
